WP3: Work Package Summary Report

This report summarises the work carried out between 2009 and 2011 by the five DERREG project partners responsible for Workpackage 3:‘Environmental Capital and Sustainable Rural Development. This research has considered how European rural regions are balancing the dual needs of protecting their environmental capital and, simultaneously, promoting economic and social sustainable development through case studies in Germany, Czech Republic, Ireland and Slovenia.
